The S G Brown name is synonymous with marine gyrocompasses and steering systems. For more than 100 years products have been designed and manufactured for commercial and defence customers worldwide. S G Brown is now an integral part of Teledyne TSS Ltd.

The product range includes surface and subsea gyrocompasses for commercial marine and specialist survey applications as well as a suite of ancillary products including repeaters, azimuth circles and compass comparators.
