The S G Brown reputation and history in marine gyrocompasses and steering systems, combined with TSS expertise in motion sensing, enable Teledyne TSS to offer platform stabilisation solutions for commercial and defence applications. The Deck Motion Monitor (DMM) has been designed to meet CAA recommendations for safe helicopter landings and the MK31 offers a commercial-off-the-shelf solution for defence platform stabilisation as well as heading and motion referencing for other ship’s systems.
